Quick update after a long hiatus!

Friday, November 15, 2013

Hello lovies!!! I know I've totally been MIA the past few years. Sorry!! I've been super busy and have totally neglected my blog :( It doesn't look like it's in great shape either. It looks like a bunch of my pics are missing. Double sad face :( :( Hmmmm....what have I been up to?

Well, as for the big events, I got married in July 2012 and had a daughter 2 months ago. I can't believe I'm a mom now!!!

Unfortunately, I don't really use blogspot anymore. Instead, I'm all into Instagram! I just started my own Instagram account and would love for those of you who have Instagram to follow me, and I would love to see what you guys are up to on Instagram as well!

I just created my account a couple days ago, so there's not much action on it yet, but don't worry. There will def be lots more posts to come. My username is fashionandfoodtour. It's a journey thru fashion, food, and elements of beauty :)

You can also email me at fashionandfoodtour@gmail.com.
Comment on my pics or email me so I know who you are in the blogspot world :)

My french bulldog also has an Instagram and has had one for a while now. She's already racked up tons of followers. People just love dogs! :) Her username is shelbythefrenchie. Here she is as a lil pup.... She will be 1 year old next month!

Please don't hesitate to message me. I would love to see how all of you are doing! I hope we can stay connected thru Instagram!

Stay beautiful my lovies!

Birthdays Bring New Beginnings

Monday, November 23, 2009

So today is my birthday. A lot has changed over the past few months. I broke up with my guy and also moved to a new place. Moving has allowed me to have a fresh start. I'm single now and around brand new surroundings, and although the break up was really crappy, I've come to terms with it and am moving on. Since it's my birthday, I really want this new year to be great.

I celebrated my birthday this past weekend with my fab friends and had a blast! Good food and good company make me happy =) I'm lucky to have such supportive and caring friends. Also, thank you to all you bloggers for your unconditional support. You have made the past few months a lot more bearable and easier for me.

I hope turning a year older will make me wiser. Here's to an amazing, life changing year! I'm only looking ahead, there's no more turning back...

The It Jean for Everyone

Wednesday, November 18, 2009

Lately, I've been into jbrand jeans. They're great because they are jeans for women of all sizes from petite to curvy. They even have a maternity line and are one of the go to brands for celebs. They come in all different styles too like skinny, boot leg, flare, etc.

Here are celebs working these jeans in all sorts of styles and colors:

What do you guys think?

Tulip Skirts

Monday, November 16, 2009

I love wearing skirts and dresses, but I love how unique tulip skirts/dresses look. With heels, they totally elongate your body and gives you a pretty shape. And for those cooler nights, wear them with tights.

I just wanted to say thank you to each and every one of you. It's been a difficult time, and it's been tough, but I'm so thankful to have all of your support. I know that it will take time, but I will get through all this. You are all amazing and I'm lucky to have you all in my blogging world. I love all of you. xoxoxo

Now onto happier thoughts...
I love these adorable images. They brighten up my day and make me smile. I'm a big animal lover, and I have two dogs myself. I just love how cute and precious animals are. So I decided to recognize adorable animals and put together a variety of animal pictures. How cute are these?! I just went awww looking at each one of them...

Sleep....What's That?

Sunday, October 25, 2009

Wouldn't it be nice if we didn't have to sleep? Then we would really have 24 hours a day to do what we needed to do. Having that much time would be amazing!! But if you generally sleep 8 hours a night, that cuts down your day to 16 hours.

Sleep seems like such a waste a time, but too bad it's needed to function. I personally need at least 6-7 hours a night to function properly or else I'm like a walking zombie, and it's not a pretty sight!

I also can't bring myself to take naps regularly. I rarely take naps because I feel like I'm wasting time and my day.

Some of you may have read something like this, but here is what your sleeping position says about you (taken from flatseats):

Your sleeping position

Those who curl up in the foetus position are described as tough on the outside but sensitive at heart. They may be shy when they first meet somebody, but soon relax. This is the most common sleeping position, adopted by 41% of the 1,000 people who took part in the survey. More than twice as many women as men tend to adopt this position.

Lying on your side with both arms down by your side. These sleepers are easy going, social people who like being part of the in-crowd, and who are trusting of strangers. However, they may be gullible.

People who sleep on their side with both arms out in front are said to have an open nature, but can be suspicious, cynical. They are slow to make up their minds, but once they have taken a decision, they are unlikely ever to change it.

Lying on your back with both arms pinned to your sides. People who sleep in this position are generally quiet and reserved. They don't like a fuss, but set themselves and others high standards.

Lying on your front with your hands around the pillow, and your head turned to one side. Often gregarious and brash people, but can be nervy and thin-skinned underneath, and don't like criticism, or extreme situations.

Lying on your back with both arms up around the pillow. These sleepers make good friends because they are always ready to listen to others, and offer help when needed. They generally don't like to be the centre of attention.

Ok, enough of my ranting. Time to get ready to sleep...HAHA.
